We're just starting out in the blog world. Joel and I think it's an amazing way to keep up and share the goings on of our family, especially since we live in Kansas and are such a great distance from our family and friends. Distance in miles, only though, as we are always close in heart!!
We've had lots going on in recent weeks.... homeschooling itself is busy, add a few doctor appointments, piano lessons, horseback riding lessons, gym days, bible study, and swim team! Wow!! It gets crazy but it is so fun and we have a great time together. We love our home and all that this military community has to offer for our family. This is a very neat season in our kid's lives. We are really enjoying watching them grow and learn. Here are a few recent pics of the kiddos at horseback riding lessons this past week.
My mom was an angel for the past week and came to help us out while I was recuperating from a minor procedure.....thanks so much Mom!!! She worked like crazy and was my laundry, garden, meal and cleaning fairy!!! Here are a few pics of she and the kids.
This week, my mother-in -law and father-in law have been here to help out!! What a huge blessing!! We need to get the camera out and take some pictures....we haven't done that yet!! We have had a great time with them and they have been busy tending to kids and laundry, also!! We appreciate them so much....we are so blessed--- we have the greatest families' ever!! By the way--- I am recovering well and feel great.....the hardest part is not lifting and "doing" anything!! Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, meals, and help!! Big Smiles, AMY
